So this week has been a little hectic with the transfer and everything, but we all need a little chaos in all of our lives right? So last tuesday we went around and said all of my goodbyes to all of the people that I was working with. Mainly a Recent Convert and one of the guys that was getting baptized on Saturday! And then Wednesday was Transfer day. We had the transfer devotional and holy crud was that good! All of the missionaries departing give there closing testimonies and its probably the saddest/ most spiritual thing ever! So good! Missions change people. Something that I recently learned an insight to why the first miracle Jesus performed in his messianic ministry was changing water to wine. I mean he could have done ANYTHING and he chose to turn water into wine. President Bell told us that he did that to show that he can change the nature of anything and that's what happens on a mission our nature changes and will change the rest of our lives if we let it.
After the transfer devotional we went to Derby (about 25 min away from Wichita) and started working. The work here is slow and there isn't a lot happening at the moment but we are working hard and this area is going to pick up in no time. We had this really cool miracle that happened on Sunday night. We were walking around trying to find someone that other missionaries had ran into a while ago and his name was Lee. He wasn't home so we walked down the street trying to talk to everyone. We saw this guy that was doing some yard work and asked if we can help. Like every other time we ask to help he told us no. We then proceeded to start up a conversation with him. We had a super spiritual conversation and he ended up praying right on the spot and the spirit was super strong! At the end we were getting his information and guess what his name was? Lee! I don't know if it was the same guy but it just goes to show that the Lord provides. We planned to see a Lee and even though it probably wasn't the same guy, we still found who God wanted us to find. MISSIONARY WORK IS THE COOLEST THING EVER! Called to Serve

Talks, Transfers and a Totally sweet Week!
This week has been outta control busy and super fun it's been crazy and super busy! So we are teaching a guy that is getting baptized next week! He is super great guy and every lesson we have with him is always just super awesome. He really likes learning and has kept every commitment to read. We had committed him to come to church on Saturday and he was super excited to come. We get a call Sunday morning and he told us that he was in the ER all night and wasn't going to be able to make it. After talking to him a little bit about it and how we would have to postpone his baptism if he didn't come, he MADE IT! So super cool and he Loved it.
It was stake conference this week which was very spiritually uplifting and just a great experience. I learned so much! However, it made it the most stressful weekend ever and that might have been due to the fact that I had to give a talk in the Saturday night session, that preceded President Bell, Sister Bell, and the Stake President. #NoPressure. but it turned out to be really really good, and turns out I really like public speaking. I mean I don't know if I did but it was fun and afterwards I felt pretty good! It was real scary though. I don't think I've ever sweat so much in my life but hey it was good!
We also went on an exchange with an AP this week. That was super fun! He was down for stake conference and spent the night at our house and then wanted to go to a few appointments with us. It was a blast! I love him so much.
Then we found out transfers! I'm heading to Derby in the Park Hill ward. My companion is Elder Christiansen. I sure am going to miss Top City and all the fun that was had here but I'm super excited to go back down to Wichita area! So I'm not going to be able to come to the baptism here next weekend but it's all good I'll get pictures!
Love you all! Have a great night!

p.s. We found this bench driving and I've always wanted to take a picture next to it so I pulled over and took a picture. So yeah that was fun!

Rain, Popped Tires, and Skype
So this week we had a lot of rain here in Topeka Kansas and we didn't have a car so that was an adventure! So on Wednesday we were riding our bikes to the people that we were trying to see and about two and a half miles away from home Elder Lee's bikes tires popped. So we walk the bike to the bike store and buy a tube and walk home. So that wasn't the most productive day, but hey at least it wasn't raining.
Then we went on Exchanges and I went up to Holton Ks. This small little town population like 2 and that was super fun! And the best part is that I had a car. Then we went back to Topeka and guess who's tire was popped again! AGAIN? So we started walking. it was all good and then some huge rain storm decided to track us down and just POUR on us! and we didn't have an umbrella or jackets or anything. So about and hour of that went on and we were soaked to the bone! But the best part is that this guy yelled for us and gave us two umbella's. The lord always provides.
Yesterday we got to skype and that was blast! It went by so quick but it was so much fun to see everyone again! This week I have gained such a strong testimony of prayer and just how much he really knows me and will help me through anything! I love it!
Love you all so much! I'll write more next week I promise!

BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE!
So this week was better than Christmas week. Seriously, not even kidding. It started off with some super cool miracles! We were able to meet with this great guy that we found a couple weeks ago on exchanges. He called us up one Sunday right before church and told us that he wanted that he was content where he was at and didn't want to come to church. So we went back over and started up a conversation about gardening with him and his friends and explained a little bit more about missionary wok and he was totally changed. He wanted us back and I think he might be the first person that remembered both my companion's and my name after the first visit, so that was pretty cool.
Then one of the sisters in my district got sick and had some doctors appointments in Wichita for the latter part of the week so we spent some time trying to cover their area as well and make sure that they didn't have anyone drop off the face of the planet. It was really awkward at times because we didn't really know what to teach or anything because we were in the dark on everything but it went pretty swell anyway and hopefully it helped so it didn't completely fail!
Then the best part of the week. Friday night we got to see Elder Holland's youth broadcast and that was so freaking sweet! He talked about how "One is always a multitude" and to stand up for what we believed in even if we stand alone. I'm pretty sure it blew the youth outta the water! It was Friday night and I couldn't sleep. We had a bus ride to Wichita at 4 in the morning so we could see Elder Holland. It was seriously Christmas x1000. I was so excited. So we get on the bus and make the trip down to Wichita. The whole mission was there so we seized the opportunity to take a mission picture because that rarely ever happens. Then we get seated into the chapel and he walks in and instantly the spirit filled the room. There was so much power and excitement and intensity in that room.
The best part about it all... I was in the front row and he walked around the whole presentation and stood like 2 inches a way from me pretty much the whole time. Let me tell you something that man has some real power and he has gets REAL intense about missionary work. At the beginning he had us all come up and shake hands with him and introduce ourselves and afterwards he told us all that he was having an interview with us just by our eye contact. ISN'T THAT LIKE THE COOLEST THING EVER? He taught some amazing things and really stressed that "we can NEVER go back to who we were" it was the best thing.
So yeah this week was great! Learned some great things!
Love you all!

It was so amazing. Like in close he said "I bear my apostolic witness that Jesus Lives and this is his church" Like the spirit that comes from that is so crazy and to be literally 2 feet away from him made it all the better. He also told us that missionaries are apostles too.. Little a apostles not Apostles but we have the same calling without the keys,. how cool was that.
