Hello everyone!
So this week was really fun! It was transfers this week, but since I
just recently got transfered it doesn't really feel like it, my
companion and I stayed together. On Wednesday we had a world wide
missionary broadcast with a couple apostles and members of the 70
present and it was awesome! It was so cool to think that 70,000 other
missionaries were watching at the same time ( or shortly after) and
how amazing that is! It was really powerful, all they talked about was
the doctrine of Christ and how that really is the only thing we need
to teach, especially repentance. It was so great! And we got to take
out s new guy again which is always a blast.

This weeks story is a little more comical. So Saturday we had a
funeral to go to (which in itself isn't comical at all) but we got
there about five min early and decided to go in through the back so we
weren't going in with the family and just kind of slip in the back and
wait till after to make ourselves known. We went through the door and
to our left was the primary room was a family gathering where the
viewing was happening (however we didn't know that) so we turn the
corner to see our bishop opening a door, and as he sees us the biggest
smile comes over his face, but he doesn't say anything so we keep
walking and literally right before we get to the door the casket comes
out along with a line of the mourning family, and we were right there
and it was the most awkward thing ever. I always thought those types
of things only happen in tv shows, but no it's a real thing.

But other then that we saw tons of miracles, one of our investigators
is half way down through 1 Nephi and she loves it, and we had one of
our other progressing investigators finally come to our sacrament
meeting ( she's been attending another wars because it has older
people) and then we found someone pretty miraculously and later that
day she slipped and hurt her back and texted and said "I think God is
telling me I need to read this book because I have to stay in bed for
a few days" along with other really cool texts! Life is good good,
missionary work is the best.

Love you all!

Hello everyone!
This week has been super awesome! We had a great week and had a lot of fun! We went on a couple exchanges in different areas and met a lot of cool people! There has been some awesome miracles this week, but we are doing this tri-zone p-day thing with all of wichita areas so this email is going to be super quick!

I would like to leave a spiritual thought today! I was reading President Nelson's CES devotional talk about the Millennial generation. There is a pretty awesome quote that he says, "Many people refer to you as Millennials., I'll admit that when researchers refer to you by the word and describe what their studies reveal about you- your likes and dislikes, your feelings and inclinations, your strengths and weaknesses- I'm uncomfortable. There is something about the way they use the term Millennial that bothers me. And frankly, I am less interested in what the experts have to say about you than what the Lord has told me about you"  and then he goes on to talk about how we are 1) an elect son or daughter of God, 2) created in him image and 3) you were taught in the spirit world to prepare you for anything and everything you would encounter during this latter part of these latter days.

This was just an awesome reminder of how special every single one of us our to our loving heavenly Father. He knows and loves us so much and is watching over us. He helps us when we fall and rejoices when we succeed! He is with us always! We are here for a reason and we have unlimited potential!

Love you all so much! Thanks for the support!

Wet Side Best Side

So a couple months ago we were eating at the restaurant Jimmy Johns and I came across a quote that has really changed my view on life. It said " the reason the human race has not and will never reached its full potential can be summarized into one word: meetings". And I definitely felt that way this week. Tuesday we had a three hour meeting, Wednesday a 9 hour meeting, Thursday preparing a three hour zone training and a meeting with the stake president, and Friday a three hour zone training. So needless to say we were in a lot of life changing meetings. It is pretty cool though because each meeting I learned so much and so much application in everything! This week should be good though because we only have one meeting and that will be good! During our MLC we talked a lot about why people are falling off date and what we can do to make sure we are being spiritual Giants! I got to give a training on faith as a principle of power and using the faith model the savior teaches us in Luke 17, and how we have to do more then what's expected and expect the impossible and always stepping outside of our comfort zone into the growth zone! Faith is so awesome! Faith is power!!! We did see this super awesome miracle yesterday! We were going on splits and I was out with the guy named Morgan. He is a recent convert and was baptized last year when I was here in the area and he's going on a mission on the 27th!! He's so solid it's crazy! But we were trying this former investigators house that we both knew last year. Turns out she moved and this girl answers the door, we do the typical thing and ask questions and try to give her a pamphlet and she takes it. Then we tell her about the Book of Mormon. She was like " shut up" and we were both a little confused, then she said "this is crazy, I found a Book of Mormon a while back when I was going through some stuff and the page was turned down and what it said answered every question I had at the time" and it was so cool! She kept saying how crazy it was that we showed up and then we taught the restoration and she was said "I feel like I have been looking for more for so long, and I think this might be it" The lord is preparing people wherever we are to accept the gospel. This is his work, and he directs it! Nothing will stop his work and I love being able to be apart of it! Love you all so much! -Elder Hunt

This is my favorite little guy! He got baptized on Saturday and to prepare he went out with the missionaries and prepared a lesson using pmg and bore his testimony to an investigator. I think I'm watching a future prophet grow up.

Back Home

So this week, in accordance to the rest of my mission I was involved
in yet another Emergency Transfer. I think I'm just behind on the
transfer schedule and I actually get forgot about for three weeks and
they are like "hey, wait a second. Why is he there with that
companion?" And then they switch me real quick. Haha but I got the
call and I'm back in Wichita!!!!! The same wars I started in! And let
me tell you.. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! As I drove back through the streets I
thought was so unfamiliar and crazy I realized this is where I leaned
to LOVE my mission. It's the best place ever! And the ward is my
favorite. I feel like I'm back in training again!!!!!

This week was kind of hectic so I don't have any huge stories this
week because a lot of them revolve around driving back and forth and
getting things done. But we did have this awesome lesson with some guy
that is trying to quit smoking and we gave him a blessing and it was
super powerful. The priesthood is so real! And then I got to see my
recent converts that got baptized when I was here last. They are going
through some hard times and Jose said "the lord sent you back just at
the right time" I love that family, and Christina was pregnant last
time I saw her and now she has a 6 month old baby boy and he is the
best thing ever. It's so cool to see their progress and just how the
gospel changes people. It really does. It's real!

Well sorry this is short but again a lot of my stories are just
meeting people and driving and all of that good stuff! I'll have more
next week,
Love you all!
