What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger

So this is an awesome saying however a lot of people skip over the
fact that sometimes the hard thing actually does kill you.
Unfortunately that's what was happened my companion. So I said that he
was having some medical problems. We had an MRI this week and we found
out that the doctor was going to be out of town until next week.
Sister bell wasn't having it though, so since she's a nurse she
marched down to that doctors office and read the MRI her self. Turns
out it was a cyst that was going to keep growing until it suffocated
him. So prez called and told him he wasn't getting the best medical
treatment so he had to go home for surgery. However it's projected
that he should be back next month. So I got a new companion and he is
awesome! His name is Elder Gardner and he's from Utah and it's going
to be awesome!

Anyways this week has been kinda slower because my companion went home
and lots of times in hospitals but the coolest thing is we still saw
miracles and found people and did some great things. But that's about
it for this week! This next week is going to be awesome and going to
just do work to make up for this week!

The week of Slurpies! 🌞

So this week has been kind of crazy but super fun! We have taken LOTS
of trips to Wichita this week because my companion has this growth
on his neck that no doctor knows really what to do with it so its been
a lot of driving! And its been hot and hot car rides with the sun just
beating down I get drowsy so needless to say I have had my fair share
of slurpies to keep us awake! We have another appointment this week
for an MRI so the tradition will most likely continue.

Anyways this week has been great nonetheless and my testimony in the
Lord providing is awesome. we had another awesome miracle this week,
our investigator that we found last week called us and wanted us to
come over and talk to her son and help him with some trials he had. He
was so great, however he might have moved back to another town but
hopefully he will back sometime soon. Then just a bunch of the
potentials we had worked out and we were able to start working with
some people and we have a great week!

This week was also a week of personal revelation! All I can say is
thank goodness for the atonement. both the cleansing and enabling
power that it brings and feeling the sweet effects that Christ can do
is such a great motivator. There are people who dont have that
knowledge and have never felt that before and I'm so grateful to have
a front row seat at watching how the atonement can work in peoples
life. I have been reading Jesus the Christ this week and studying the
last week of the saviors life and let me tell you, its the most
amazing thing ever!

The Book of Mormon, the sickle

This week has been so awesome with some great miracles! The Lord justalways provides! Just when you think that you cant go on or its toohard he steps in and just helps so much! We went on two exchangesthis week. I went with the Zone Leaders and then the next day theAPs, it was so much fun! I love all the missionaries here!

So for the miracle. It was Wednesday afternoon, and we were just aboutto go in to exchange with the APs, we had about 15 min before we hadto go home. We knocked one last door and this girl came to the doorand was not very interested. But we pushed it and testified of theBook of Mormon. When we explained what the Book of Mormon is and thatChrist came to the Americas she almost like grabbed it out of ourhands. We left with a return appointment and thought it was prettycool. On the walk home we got a call and I answered it and it was thegirl that we just talked to. She was crying on the phone, she told ushow as she was reading the pamplet we gave her just felt so peacefuland the spirit confirmed it to her that it was true. We gave her achurch tour this weekend and she came to church. After sacramentmeeting she told us that she was going to go home and read the book.We get a text with a bunch of awesome questions and she was telling ushow much she LOVED the book of mormon, It really strengthened mytestimony of the power of the book of mormon. It is powerful and superawesome!This week has just been filled with things like that which reallystrengthened my relationship with my Savior! I love it!Love you all so much! Thanks for everything!

I have been given this hashtag for all of the texts that I send out.
This mission is obsessed with hashtags and they really spice
everything up! This week has been really great! We are really trying
to work with some part member families and other people. We have been
really trying to talk to a lot of people right now. and get the new
guy a little more comfortable talking to people. He is doing really
good and trying really hard to step outside of his comfort zone which
is super fun to see!

We have some really great potentials around here! The members are
super great! We are trying out this new program where we spend more
time with active members to help us unite and become equally yoked
with the members! Im super excited about it and the whole zone is
going to be trained on it on Friday! Also we get the area book
planner app this week which will change how we plan! Im super happy a
bout that! anyways life is awesome! Ill send more next week I promise!
