TORNADOOOO‏

Just Kidding... there wasn't any tornados this week but since I am in Kansas I am constantly waiting for one to take me away to Oz. We have been told probably everyday by at least one person that there is going to be a tornado tonight. The weather in Kansas is so messed up. Literally the weather changes like every hour. Its really hard to dress for that, especially on bikes. One of the members told us that you could smell a tornado in the air when it was coming and I've smelled some pretty funky things in the air but that might just be the Frito Lay plant frying there potatoes.

So we are the Young Single Adult missionaries in the area and every Monday we plan a Family Home Evening for all the YSA and we played Zombie Nerf Gun wars. We set up a bunch of tables and chairs and had a strobe light and it was so much fun. We related it to the plan of salvation in that we all have to go through life and part of our condition as mortals is to sometimes feel in the dark but we always will have the help sufficient to survive. It might have been a stretch but it was fun and every week are getting more and more people

But anyways this week was such a great week in Topeka! Our Recent Convert is doing so great. He signed up to go to Navoo for a youth conference where they will be visiting church history sights and going to the temple and his mom is doing family history and since she's the only member in her family she is finding so many of her family members. The spirit of Elijah is definitely helping that family grow and become just super solid members!

This week we had Interviews with President Bell and it was seriously the best thing ever. The AP's gave a training on having Vision, Passion, and Power and how having a vision on who you want to become will help you have the drive and power you need to accomplish everything through the strengthening and enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. And the Interview with Prez was so great. He shows so much love and gave me some great things that I need to work on to become better!

SOOO I would like to end with a quote with one a quote from one of my favorite people that may or may not be coming to our mission soon. This has been such a great quote that has helped me a lot "So be kind regarding human frailty—your own as well as that of those who serve with you in a Church led by volunteer, mortal men and women. Except in the case of His only perfect Begotten Son, imperfect people are all God has ever had to work with. That must be terribly frustrating to Him, but He deals with it. So should we."

Have a great week! Love you all!
